Noam's Father

Eitan and Raya met in junior high and kept up a connection for years. After he completed the first round of his first military service, he spent a lot of time in Raya's home. When Eitan was appointed to company commander instructor, they moved to a small apartment in Ramat Gan. When he became a battalion second commander, they moved to Kiryat Shmona.

On 9.9.96(September 9, 1996) Eitan and Raya were married. Two months after Eitan became the Paratroopers Recon Unit Commander, his daughter, Noam was born. That Saturday was Eitan's first unit training. He got the message that Raya was in the hospital but it was not necessary for him to come. While getting the training briefing, Eitan got the message Noam was born. He decided to leave the unit just after the brigade commander pressured him. Eitan drove to the hospital in Tzfat, spent few hours with Raya and Noam, and returned to the unit.
